This 18" natural wild boar skin shamanic drum for sale has been made a Maple wood hoop.  Comes with a free beautiful beater made from willow, the beater head is made from sheepwool off cuts and is filled with raw sheeps wool from Nutshell Flock in Gloucetershire. Tied using some of the wild boar skin and adourned with wild rabbit fur.
 
BORN 03.10.24 - around 5.30pm after the new moon and eclipse.  This skin was soaking under the sun, moon and stars for 2 nights in ceremony.
 
I’m not going to lie….the words f**k me were said more than once on the afternoon of the shamanic drum birthing. Keeping it real, after all the love, connection, ceremony, cleansing…when it came to birth time, this drum took it out of me.

I swear I will have aching muscles in the morning. This is partly due to the thicker, tougher qualities of the skin, but also the glorious energies of the wild boar and this drum soul. I’ve also experienced significant ‘womb ache’ with this one.

So far, this wild boar shamanic drum is not for the faint hearted, but for the big hearted!

I was so glad the sun was shining on its birthday, after the eclipse and new moon, that this skin was soaked under. Not only did that bring light, warmth and joy, it meant for part of the birthing I was able to work outside.

WILD BOAR MEDICINE:  As I connected with the skin online, I felt the wild courage, the tearing through fear, the ground rooted strength with an almost comedic undernote. Not that I would think you would find coming across one of these in the wild very funny! It is more of a staring you plain face on and looking back at you with an honestly that would be un-nerving. Like those moments when you are brought to the truth of a situation and it so takes you by surprise, almost by the simpleness or clarity that brings, it makes you laugh.
