This 16" natural reindeer skin shamanic drum for sale has been made a Maple wood hoop. A snowflake obsidain crystal is held in the centre of her wings. Sold with two beaters, offering different sound qualities.

"Sitting again with the skin, the subtle, delicate strength of them opened my heart. Heart medicine. I experienced how gentleness of heart and transparency is an exquisite strength. You do not have to be big, physically strong, obvious or loud to hold a presence in the world. I had an immersion in what would be described as feminine energies in the whole expansive sense; not limited to the human female. The essence of mist, petals, of light in the darkness, mossy smells, potential, callings, ethereal, floating, of the air, wings, hooves on ground under star lit skies, fairies, magic, of between the veil, where different worlds meet and hearts connect. Beautiful. The skin is soft and subtle between my fingers…I feel almost an activation, or ……a request to notice. Poetry in motion. Holding a gentle soft flame as we enter the darker phase of the year and move inward. Add this light of summer, to the fires of winter."

This shamanic drum for sale is made from reindeer skin sustainably sourced from the netherlands. All my drums come with a beater that usually has the same skin used in some way, to connect them. I always work in a sacred ceremonial way respecting all parts of the process.
